Welcome to the International Standing Conference for the History of Education (ISCHE) Annual Conference 2023, which will take place in presence at the Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Education and Psychology (1075 Budapest, Kazinczy u. 23–27.), between 18–21 July 2023.
The main theme is ‘Histories of Education and Reform: Traditions, Tensions and Transitions’.
The Pre-Conference Workshops will be held on-site 17 July (between 1 and 6 PM) at ISCHE 44 in Budapest, Hungary. To reach the programme of the Pre-Conference Workshop, please click here.
The conference will be extended with online days on 24–25 July with the Whova App. The option choice (in-presence/online) is not yet required at the time of submission.
After the closing of the reviewing process, acceptance/rejection letters are sent (by 20 March), and authors will have the option to state if they attend online or in person (by 31 March). In pre-formed panels, all participants must choose the same option.
There will be no hybrid sessions, only the main events (keynote speeches, General Assembly, Executive-Committee-organized panels) will be streamed.
